Memorial Day . . .

I really love any holiday that is related to our country, I feel so blessed to be able to live here in America and incredibly thankful for all the men and woman who have sacrificed so much for this country, and all those still doing it today! I really want to tell my brother Jon who is Afghanistan right now, that I am so proud of him and thankful for what he is doing...

Every year we visit our Howe relatives grave sites and leave them flowers and flags. 

 And of course we always take a family picture.

 This year I felt it was really important to get one with Grandma Howe.

 It was actually a really sad day because the Howe's were moving and leaving right after the cemetery. Sheila is such a huge part of our lives especially my kids lives, I don't know what we  are going to do without her. There were lots of tears and hugs.
