Some fun things we have been up to....

Last week Kim, Janna and I all hung out in Brigham City at Janna's friends farm. I don't know if you remember my post from last year, but it is a really cool little place. They have some pretty nontraditional kind of animals, like ostriches, and tortoises along with goats, pigs, chickens and LOTS of room for the kids to run and play. So this year they had a big water balloon fight! They were having so much fun it was hard to tear them away to look at the all the animals. After the farm Janna and I went to Mantua which was just GORGEOUS! They had a field full of poppies and it was just at the base of the mountains with all these pretty trees and a huge open field.

I love this pictures of my kiddos. They are so cute together and Mckay is so sweet. I got some way cool textures that I have been trying out on my pictures...look at the camping pictures and you will see them too. What do you think?

Then, a couple days ago, one of my best friends Amy came down again and hung out. My sis, Amy and I, went to a free kids lunch at the elementary school and then to the S. Ogden "Splash Pad." it is a fun little water park, where water shoots out of the ground and there are cool toys and things that dump water on their heads. Anyone who lives in Ogden should defiantly check it out...it's FREE and the kids loved it. It's right behind the Ogden Athletic Center in S. Ogden.

Ky was pretty fearless of course and went charging through all the water.

It was so hard to get good pictures because the kids would never face us and there was water going everywhere so I was afraid of getting my camera wet. But, I got a few.

I have to tell you THE MOST embarrassing story EVER though! Mckay and Tyler were playing at the playground near by, I wasn't paying too much attention because I was trying to watch Ky and talk to Amy at the same time. Well, next thing I know I take a glance over to see what Mckay is doing, and I see this white little butt hanging over the edge of the playground step, and I think to myself, "that looks a lot like Mckay's butt," well it WAS! I look over there and he had pulled down his swimsuit and was POOPING right on the playground! There was a mom over there that was like "KIDS STAY AWAY FROM HIM" I ran over there and apologized and promptly put Mckay in time out. Then I had to go over and clean up his mess while all the little kids stood around and went "EWWW...GROSS!" I felt like I had a dog I was cleaning up after or something. I seriously have never been so embarrassed. He has NEVER done that before. But, I am sure it has to do with the fact that I had to have him pee outside earlier because there was no bathroom at the school we went to for lunch. I guess he just thought he could pee OR poop wherever he wanted now. But, all that aside, it was a fun day and it was so great to hang out with Amy and my sis.

I am still laughing over the pooping incident! LOL!!! Oh well, chances are you'll never see those moms again and who cares...as long as he doesn't do it again, right? hehehe

Haha. I know that it was embarassing for you...but I am so happy you shared it at the same time...it makes for a good laugh ;) I think it is just hard during the summer too because why would they want to stop playing and go inside...it's only logical (in their mind) that this would be an easier and quicker solution and he can get back to playing faster....haha. Just too funny!

On a side note. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ky's swim suit. Where did you get it? I hope you don't say Ebay dand it cause I want one for Anna!

Hehe. I did get it from Ebay...I am kinda addicted. But, it is Baby Gap. They might still have one cause I had a friend that went and bought one.

That is too funny about your little boy pooping at the play ground. Glad it happened to you and not me but you know we all have something like that happen with our kids or will have something like that happen. That place looks way fun I will have to take my little girl there she would love it.
