I was most excited about Mckay's costume. The kids had a "Favorite Book Character Parade" at their school and Craig suggested Mckay be Max, from "Where the Wild Things Are". Mckay was so excited that I knew we could use it for his Halloween costume too. So, the night before the parade, I made the 1/2 hour drive to Joannes in some serious San Antonio traffic and then got to work sewing into the wee hours of the morning. With some help from Craig, I was able to get it done in time. I guess I thrive on procrastination and pressure. haha. The important thing is, that I got it done, it turned out good, and he LOVES it! I think he makes a perfect Max. Then, we also have a Pegasus or as we say, "Our fat unicorn with wings" and of course if you know piper, a kitty.... with attitude :)
I told him to give me some, "Max attitude" and this is what I got. Pretty good I think!
Her costume is a little small, she's had it for a while, but was determined to wear it. Fine by me because that means happy kid and free costume that I don't have to sew :)
Hope you all have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
