This year we finally decided to buy a fake tree. We were tired of the mess from a real tree. Plus, we got a really good deal on this one. It is nice because it is pre lit. We had ice cream sundaes and listened to Christmas music while we put ornaments on the tree.

Sometimes when I look at your blog I get sick with jealousy :)Everything looks straight out of a magazine. Your tree is beautiful. It is my family tradition to cut down a tree the weekend after Thanksgiving, but we did not participate this year because with a child who likes to tug at everything - fake might be the way to go.
What a fun family night! We put ours up 3 days after Caleb and I came home from the hospital, so I participated from the couch - but it was so much fun! One of my favorite family traditions! Also - hooray for prelit trees! We bit the bullet as well this year (although Cameron got a little overzealous at Cosco and came home with a nine footer.)
