Shoes & Princess Rooms

My little girl LOVES shoes...she is OBSESSED! Anytime there are any shoes out she will wear them. This is her favorite pair for the moment...it used to be Craig's big church shoes. She has so much fun playing with them, so it gives me hope that maybe I will get my little girlie girl after all :) I already did a scrapbook layout if you want to see it, it's on my scrapbook blog.

KYLIN'S NEW ROOM
If you all know me, you know that I always HAVE to have a project. Well, I found this way cute comforter at Ikea for only $4, So I bought 2 of them. One for her bed and one to make curtains out of. I know I just finished her purple room only 7-months ago, but the purple didn't match and I wanted to do a chair rail...So I decided to re-do her room! Now it is a BIG girl room & she LOVES it, especially her bed :) I did it for WAY CHEAP too! I made pretty much everything or bought it through KSL or thrift stores (you would be so proud Tausha). This was my first chair rail...THANKS so much for helping me Craigers :) So, here it is...one more project done. I really like how happy and colorful it is. I REALLY need to do Mckay's room now.

I got her bed for only $10 from KSL and painted it pink. It's nice cause it has rails and it really close to the ground (she never falls out though) and the pictures are 16x20 & made from digital scrapbook paper and framed. I'm sure it is too small to see, but the comforter & curtains have cute little fairies & bugs on them.

The canopy I got off ebay and was only $5 and I made the the pink fluffy pillow. The saying says, "A dream is a wish your heart makes..." from Cinderella.

You can't see the saying under the shelf very well in this picture (you can see them good in real life) it says, "I didn't ask to be a princess I just am!"

The rocking chair was only $10 and I got it off KSL and painted it pink. The cabinet I already had and just painted it green. It holds some books and blankets. I made the lamp shade for her other room and it still matches. and the blanket to match her pillow.

I'm amazed. It is darling...and you can really find a deal. I NEVER look for deals. It's like I have no imagination. I find something that looks great and then want it.....the only problem is the price tag!

So cute! I have dreams of doing something fun for jaxson's room! Where did you get your vinyl sayings for the wall?

I long for the day when I can paint a room. It just sets the tone, you know? Anna's room seems all miscelanious. You need to teach classes on how to be amazing - you sew, cook, decortae, scrapbook, are a photographer - enough! You make us all look lazy. I love Kylin's shoe pictures too - Anna likes to put my shoes on her and then try and put my shoes on me, which usually ends in frustration on her part ;)

too cute and yes, i am so proud of you!
It makes such a differnce when you get it all for $3.00-give or take a buck or two! It's good to do it this way cause then you always have left over money to go and buy yourself some clothes! isn't that what is most important?
You need to go to the salvation army-it's right next to the hostess store and the health department on 26th. target sends all their stuff there-all brand new with tags-plus the guy who owns will always give you a deal-just ask!
You will love it! go-go now! you can thank me later. I do accept chocolate for payment! :)
