We are here, We are here, We are here.....

Sorry about the heading, we just watched "Horton Hears a Who" and it has been going over and over in my head. Anyways, we really are finally here in Logan. Everything is a mess and I can't find anything, but our stuff is all here somewhere and we are trying to settle in. I had a few little breakdowns with some tears, about moving, and this crazy busy time of year and the overwhelming amount of packing plus still working. But I survived. I said good bye to my house and am ready to move on with my life.

I went to this incredible sacrament meeting yesterday at my brothers farewell. He is going to Texas for those of you who didn't know, and is leaving this Wednesday. He did a GREAT job on his farewell talk. But, the thing that really struck me about that sacrament meeting was, that there was a woman with 3 children who spoke about her husband getting in a HORRIBLE accident, and him being in a coma and almost dying. When he finally woke up he didn't remember anything or anyone. Not even his wife and kids. He had to relearn everything all over again, and still to this day doesn't remember his life before. She told about her struggles and it was just so incredible all this woman went through and still had a good attitude and was not bitter.

So, it really got me thinking. I have been so sad about moving and leaving my house for this tiny condo, BUT that is SO NOTHING compared to what so many other people have to go through. It really puts life into perspective and totally changed my whiny attitude. I AM SO BLESSED! I always know that I am, but still find room to complain. really I have no room to complain and that sacrament meeting has totally changed my attitude about this move. I had a wonderful confirmation a few months ago from the spirit telling me that Logan is where we need to be. So, I need to be happy and remember that. I am gonna be happy and make this a pleasant experience for our little family. I'm so excited to hang out with all you Logan people! :)

Ok. so know that I have got all that out :) I want to thank everyone who helped us with this move...we really couldn't have done it without you! It is really hard moving with 2 very SICK little kids. So thanks again for all the help. Hope you are all having a wonderful holdiday season. We are going to start getting into the festivities now...setting up the tree tonight :)

You should be proud of yourself. This is a big deal in your life right now. You are a strong patient person. People always asked me how I did it, (being patient) when we were working on our house. I didn't think I was, but I just told people I didn't have a choice. Our attitude in times like these is what matters. Thanks for sharing that it made me also count my blessings.

i feel so dumb when i hear about peoples hardships and think i got it bad. its unfortunate that it takes hearing things for me to realize how blessed i am! what a strong woman.
when i saw the picture of your truck in sardine canyon i got so many flashbacks! we definately miss it there...but not so much being so friggin close to family! i think its important to have your space.
and hey, you guys totally have us beat with the tree! we STILL dont have ours up! im lazy and dont feel like redecorating all by myself.
good to hear you guys made it all in one piece. good luck up there!
